Just like in any places, we have rules to follow here. Before joining, we'd appreciate it if you read them. Thanks a lot for your understanding !
Note that these rules may be subject to changes in the future ; if it happens, you will be warned of it.
1) Be nice. This implies being polite, trying to avoid sensitive subjects if someone expresses discomfort, and generally doing your best to ensure you as well as others have a pleasant experience.
2) Use the Out of Character forums to talk out of character. If you need to add one or two notes to an in character post, please do so between double brackets, to make it very clear.
3) While we do not have a set wordcount, we do ask you to write more than one sentence. We recommend trying to match your partner's post length, out of courtesy.
4) Powerplays, godmodding, metagaming and other things that are considered bad roleplay practice are not allowed here. We make an exception for silly/crack roleplays that aren't meant to be apart of the overall storyline of the forum.
5) We ask you to use proper grammar and spelling when roleplaying. In the OOC section, just try to make sure others can understand you ; we're more lenient there.
The admin isn't a native speaker and can understand having hardship with English at times, and will provide you with tools to help if you ask.
6) While we allow more mature content here, this forum's host doesn't allow pornography. Which means you cannot roleplay your smut on this forum; please fade to black if things get too hot and steamy.
7) An application is required to join. When you join, please use the character you'd like to play's name as an username. You may reserve a character for up to a week.
Players may play more than one character. However, before applying for a second character, we ask you to have 20 in character posts. Having more than 3 characters will require the Admin's permission, in order to avoid inactive accounts.
9) Warn us of your absences. Accounts that have been inactive for over a month without warnings will be deleted ; the roleplays linked to the account will be moved, so you may still find them back.
10) Please do not make your signature pictures more than 250px in height.
11) Do not fight or create unecessary drama in the chatbox. This includes character bashing. (mentioning you dislike a character is fine, insisting on their every flaw and being rude about it is not.)
12) Asking your partner to remove their post/deleting your own posts without telling your partner first is not allowed. It goes against the whole idea of participative writing.
13)When posting, please refrain from adding anything that may stretch the forum; images or custom html are allowed as long as they respect this.
14) In case of an IC fight where you have not determined a winner, please use the dice roll; whoever gets the highest amount wins.
15) The usual cheesy rule ; have fun. Feel free to ask the admin for clarifications on the rules, or if you have suggestions.
